About

I'm Igor Lima...

I work at the intersection of AI, operations, and client-facing delivery. Most of my career has been in enterprise environments where reliability, clarity and stakeholder trust matter, and I enjoy turning messy problems into systems people can actually run.

I recently completed an MSc in Artificial Intelligence, focused on building end-to-end solutions using existing models and tools (rather than model research). One of my main projects was a RAG-based assistant for dementia care support, with an emphasis on grounded answers and practical evaluation.

Professionally, I’ve spent years working closely with customers and internal engineering/support teams — often acting as the link between technical and non-technical stakeholders. A lot of my work has been about reducing operational friction: improving incident handling, creating better reporting and automations, and helping teams adopt changes without chaos.

My approach is pragmatic: start with the real workflow, ship something usable quickly, and make sure the team understands it well enough to own it. I’m not interested in AI for AI’s sake — I care about outcomes, maintainability, and making things easier for the people doing the work.

Tools I’m comfortable with

Python, LLM APIs, LangChain-style orchestration, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone), and Azure tools from hands-on internal automation work (Power Automate / Power Apps) — plus the usual delivery and stakeholder toolkit from enterprise roles.
